Life's Journey strives towards a workforce that has fairrepresentation of the community that we serve.REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: RESIDENTIAL COORDINATOR & CLINICAL CASE MANAGER As a Residential Support Mentor, you willprovide direct support to those individuals within our Residential Program. As a Residential Support Mentor, you will:· Understandand familiarize with participant's care plans· AdministerParticipant medications & PRNS as required· Assist theparticipants during times of crisis; · Complete dailygeneral duties assigned to each shift in the residence; including but notlimited to: meal planning and preparation (cooking), maintenance of home andpremises (cleaning),



· Maintain a closeworking relationship with the Clinical team to ensure participant's needs arebeing metAs a Successful Candidate you will possess the following Qualificationsand Experience:· Previousexperience working with individuals living with severe Mental Health· Previouslyexperience working with individuals who engage in substance use· Atleast two years' experience in a related role · HighSchool Diploma or GED required· An understandingof Manitoba Licensing Legislation and Regulations · Abilityto present a Satisfactory Child and Adult Abuse Registry check, satisfactoryCriminal Record Check (vulnerable sector search) and a satisfactory Driver's Abstractand 5F Driver's License.· Holda valid First Aid CPR Certificate· Theability to attend work regularly as scheduled or requested.· Anunderstanding or previous experience with Harm Reduction techniques· Strongcommunication skills: Written and Verbal (English)· Abilityto build strong, positive and skilled relationships with others· Demonstratecultural knowledge competence and participate in agency training fordevelopment.· Asafe and reliable vehicle with proof of appropriate insurance on vehicle (atleast $2 Million, Third Party Liability)We thank all those whoapply, but only those who qualify for an interview will be contacted.
