You will be an integral part of Extendicare’s culinary team, helping to serve meals tailored to individual dietary needs and cleaning serving areas. In this role, you will also assist in preparing easy food items and maintaining proper food storage while adhering to safety and hygiene standards that exemplify our commitment to quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve food to residents with strict dietary adherence
• Assist in the preparation of salads, fruits, and basic meals
• Clear serving areas and operate dishwashing equipment




• Participate in storing and labeling dietary supplies
• Attend required training and team meetings

Requirements:
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Degree or certification in nutrition/food service preferred
• Previous experience in dietary settings is an advantage
• Capable of meeting physical job demands
• Completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check needed
