Responsibilities Report to the Operations Manager.
Vehicle processing: draining appropriate automobile fluids (gasoline, antifreeze, etc.).
Remove non‑ferrous material, catalytic converters, tires, rims and other components.
Notify appropriate personnel of any procedural abnormalities.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations.
Requirements High‑school diploma, CAEC/GED, or comparable assessment pass.
No prior experience required, but experience in a manufacturing, production or scrap yard/auto‑parts environment is an asset.
Knowledge of automotive components is an asset.
Valid Class5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation to/from a remote location.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, moderate to heavy lifting and pushing/pulling up to 50lb).
Willingness to work in variable weather conditions (hot or cold), dust, odors, fumes and noise.
Organized, able to prioritize competing priorities.
