Position Overview Machine Operator – Thin Film Coating Department at Raytheon ELCAN, located in Midland, Ontario. Responsibilities Operate vacuum coating machines for the application of single, multi‑layer coatings.
Inspect and clean optical components.
Prepare, clean and load coating chambers.
Perform metrology measurements such as transmission, reflection, and ellipsometry.
Collaborate with engineering, research & development teams.
Use computer skills including Product Center, Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
Post‑secondary education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing).
