Position: Transport Truck Driver

Salary: $36.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

Experience 2 years to less than 3 years
Responsibilities Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
Mountain driving expertise
Professionalism in customer service
Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Load and unload goods
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Perform brake adjustments
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Perform preventive maintenance
Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption




Credentials Air Brakes Endorsement
DZ class license
Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Additional Information Type of trucking and equipment: Refrigerated, Tractor-trailer
Transportation/travel experience: International, National, Provincial/territorial, Regional
Will be required to hold a valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel internationally
