Job Title: Commercial and retail sign installer supervisor

Location: 4 Abacus Road, Unit 11, Brampton, ON, L6T 5B7 (1 Vacancy)

Job Type: Regular

Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full-time

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $38.50 per hour

Hours of Employment: 30 to 35 hours/Week

Work Setting: Printing Company

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of sign installers engaged in the installation, servicing, and removal of commercial and industrial signage, including illuminated signs, channel letters, pylons, awnings, and digital displays.

Plan and organize installation work to meet project timelines and coordinate activities with contractors, electricians, and other trades as required.

Ensure installation work complies with design specifications, safety regulations, and company quality standards.

Conduct site inspections and oversee the safe operation of lifts, cranes, and other installation equipment.

Resolve on-site installation issues and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency, workmanship, and safety.

Requisition tools,



equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for sign installation projects.

Prepare and maintain work schedules, job progress reports, and installation documentation.

Train installers on proper installation techniques, use of equipment, fall protection, and workplace health and safety procedures.

Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and promotions as needed.

Professional Skills and Requirements

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Minimum 1 year to 2 years of experience in related position is preferred.

Ability to supervise 3 to 4 people.

Effectively communicate orally and in writing in English.

Experience working with MS Office, MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows is an asset.

May be physically demanding; involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods; Walking; Bending, crouching, kneeling.

Able to work independently and in a team, flexible, valuable time management, organizational and Interpersonal Skills.
