The Beckwith Butcher is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager – Retail to oversee the daily operations of our butcher shop and ensure excellent customer service standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory and merchandising, maintaining store operations, and supporting business growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Location: 1 Costello Drive, Suite 4, Carleton Place, ON K7C 0B4

Salary: $43.27 per hour, 35 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in retail or food retail supervision/management

Job Duties

Oversee and coordinate daily store operations

Supervise staff and assign duties

Ensure high standards of customer service and product quality

Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as required





Implement pricing and merchandising strategies

Plan and monitor store budgets, revenues, and expenses

Recruit, train, and supervise employees

Resolve customer complaints and operational issues

Maintain compliance with health and safety standards

Conduct staff performance evaluations

Support marketing and promotional activities to increase sales
