Title: Welding Machine Operator
Location: 4211 Breen Road, Putnam, ON, Canada, N0L 2B0
Type: Permanent; Full‑time Regular
Salary: $36.00 per hour
Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
Work setting: Warehouse

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Run automated and semi‑automated welding equipment to manufacture and restore metal components

Handle metal‑joining equipment used for fusing and sealing fabricated products

Oversee welding systems and ensure continuous production operations

Inspect finished products to ensure welding quality and compliance with specifications

Support troubleshooting and basic servicing of welding‑related machinery and tools

Modify machine settings,



fixtures, and attachments based on production requirements

Maintain a secure and organized work environment while following workplace safety standards

Conduct on‑site maintenance and repair services

Professional Skills and Requirements

Completion of secondary school is required

Completion of a diploma or bachelor's program in a related field is preferred

Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience is required in the position or a related position

Ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented, multi‑tasking environment

Ability to lift heavy weights, meet tight deadlines, and attend to detail

Ability to work independently, flexible for all shifts, good time management, organisational, good teamwork and interpersonal skills

Excellent analytical and organizational skills
