Begin your career in aviation with Babcock as an Apprentice AME in Prince Rupert, BC. Focus on maintenance and repairs of AW169 aircraft systems under qualified guidance.
In this permanent position, you'll be part of a dedicated team at Babcock, enhancing the operational readiness of key defense assets. Your tasks will include conducting maintenance operations, using specialized tools, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Experience in aviation is beneficial but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support licensed AMEs in conducting aircraft maintenance
• Test, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems of AW169 aircraft
• Perform cleaning duties for aircraft interiors and exteriors
• Successfully complete task entries in CAMP
• Maintain compliance with Transport Canada guidelines
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled or have completed an accredited AME program
• Prior experience with AW169 or similar aircraft preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work shifts and travel as required
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be eligible for RAIC
