The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is seeking Preflight Mechanics to join our team based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.
Location 13100 Boul Henri‑Fabre, Mirabel, Quebec J7N 3C6. The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program headquarters is located in Mirabel, in the Montreal metropolitan area. Benefits Starting salary of $34.62 per hour with one year of experience (otherwise, according to the collective agreement)

Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings
Install and repair mechanical components
Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems
Maintain mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight controls, etc.)
Prepare the aircraft for flight (refueling, daily inspections)
Participate in engine and auxiliary power unit tests
Implement changes in the form of service bulletins while respecting industry standards
Participate in the Continuous Improvement Program (AES)
All other related duties according to experience and qualifications
Requirements A DEC or AEC in Aircraft Maintenance or an M2 (Aircraft Maintenance) License AND 2 years of experience within the last 5 years
Demonstrated autonomy, initiative, and ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
Will be required to work in confined spaces on a regular basis
Will be required to work at heights up to 30 feet on a regular basis
Ability to adopt and maintain different physical positions depending on job requirements
Good communication skills
Good command of the French language (oral and written)
