Job Overview Safran Landing Systems (Safran Systems d'Atterrissage) is dedicated to manufacturing major landing gear components for aircraft (e.g., Airbus A320, A330, A350; Boeing 787). The Mirabel facility uses advanced technologies for machining, polishing and special processes including heat treatment, shot peening and surface treatments.
Responsibilities Install and adjust the anode cage or anodes on the part.
Perform electroplating and rinsing operations in plating solution tanks following procedures.
Monitor and control parameters (current, duration, etc.).
Place parts in the stress-relief oven and program the heating cycle.
Troubleshoot technical issues as required.
Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and take corrective actions when abnormalities are detected.
Organize and schedule tasks according to priorities.
Consult technical documents (working drawings, operation sheets, procedures) on a computer and complete quality assurance documentation as needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement of operations and to achieving safety, quality, cost and on-time delivery objectives.
Benefits & Specifics Evening shift: Monday to Thursday, 14:20-00:20. Depending on collective agreement rules, the position may change shift (day, night or weekend).
Pay range: from $30.13 to $43.60 per hour depending on skills and experience; progression up to $47.32/hour with internal training and skill development.
Shift premium: $1.30 per hour.
Annual profit-sharing program (up to $3,500 per year).

Requirements Vocational diploma (D.E.P.) in surface treatment, aircraft mechanical assembly, aircraft structural assembly, aircraft wiring assembly, welding-assembly or composite materials.
Minimum two years of aeronautics experience.
Manual dexterity.
Basic computer skills.
Good observation, analytical skills, attention to detail and rigor.
Organizational skills, priority management and autonomy.
Results-oriented.
