Duties and Skills Requirements
Interpretation of blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Preparing layouts in conformance with building codes
Measure, cut, assemble, join materials to build foundations, floor beams and sub flooring, walls, sheeting, joisting
Erecting trusses; building and installing framing for dropped ceilings according to layout
Use of hand, power and measuring tools
Ability to perform duties in a safe manner
