Various locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Province of Ontario

Job Description

Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials

Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems

Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware

Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

Job Requirements





Minimum 3 years of experience in carpentry work

Proficiency in handling saws, drills, laser levels, and other power tools

Ability to select and work with wood, metal, and composite materials

Adherence to local safety and building regulations

Strength to lift heavy materials and ability to stand, bend, and climb for long periods

Valuable hand-eye coordination for precision work and operating heavy machinery

Effective collaboration with team membersStrict adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents
