Home Support Worker
We are seeking a Home Support Worker to provide care for an elderly client. The role includes administering bedside and personal care, managing medications, assisting with bathing and hygiene, supporting exercise, feeding, laundering, light housekeeping, companionship, shopping, and meal preparation.

Wage: $24.50 - $25.00 CAD per hour (subject to negotiation)

Hours & Schedule: 40 hours per week, full‑time permanent employment. Shifts include morning, day, and evening.

Location: Work must be completed at the client’s home. Remote work is not available.

Qualifications: Minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience. High school (secondary) graduation required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), walk, stand, and perform repetitive tasks in a quick‑paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Administer bedside and personal care





Administer medications

Assist clients in water (e.g., pool)

Assist with bathing and personal hygiene

Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking

Feed or assist in feeding

Perform laundering of clothing and household linens

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Provide companionship and personal care support

Shop for food and household supplies

Prepare and serve nutritious meals
