Mechanic - Level 3
This Mechanic/Technician role performs preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment to avoid downtime. The fleet includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and, depending on location, large‑scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.

5+ years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment, or specialty lines (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment) strongly preferred.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

May need to provide tools of the trade.

Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills.

Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced workplace.





Physical Demands
Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range
$32.53 – $44.72 per hour (starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience).
