D&G; Landscaping is a commercial landscaping and heavy civil construction company based in Greely, Ontario. We are proud to have worked on some of the largest landscape construction projects in our nation's capital. Our projects include Parliament (West Block & Centre Block), Lansdowne Park, Rideau Street, Elgin Street, multiple OLRT Stations to name just a few.

We're looking for a Water Truck Driver/Operator to join our team - If you have any kind of hydroseeding or water truck experience and you're looking for a great opportunity to join a growing organization, this could be a great role for you.

Description

Drive a water truck for commercial landscaping & other construction sites

Water, hydroseed and irrigate sites throughout Ottawa Region

Seasonal, full time work (45 – 55 hours/week)

Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes,



cold storage and other equipment

Receive and relay information to dispatch

Keep records including driver logbook, loading tickets, inspection report

Requirements

DZ License, air brakes endorsement

Experience utilizing DZ license in a similar setting (1-3 years)

Transparent Driver's abstract

Ability to lift & pull 23 kg or more (50 lbs+) continuously as needed

Required PPE: Steel-toed safety shoes, hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses

Must provide your own transportation to and from the truck garage/base in Greely, ON
