Responsibilities

Set up a workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.

Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)

Cook complete various foods according to our recipe.

Check food while cooking to stir or turn.

Check the quality of ingredients.

Order or receive food supplies after selecting the best qualities.

Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards.

Work with specialized equipment such as pizza ovens, grills, etc.

Clean kitchen and work area.

May schedule and/or train kitchen helpers.

Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food- handling practices.

Requirements

12+ months of cooking experience required, or equivalent education.

Completion of secondary school.

Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items and standing for long periods of time.

Good communication and teamwork skills.





Foodsafe certificate is an asset.

Working Conditions

Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Position Type

Permanent, Full‑Time, 40 hours/week.

Wage – $21.65 – $25.65 per hour, to be negotiated.
