We are hiring for a Junior DevOps Engineer position working on a client project focusing on CI microservices, cloud platforms, and automation workflows. This on‑site role is ideal for early‑career developers looking to strengthen their system operations and development skills in a collaborative team environment.

Job Title: Junior DevOps Engineer
Location: Vancouver, Canada (Onsite)
Experience: 1-3 Years
Rates: $35 to $40 CAD PH

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support CI microservice systems

Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to user support requests

Apply security updates to servers and databases

Improve existing system features and develop recent capabilities

Contribute to AI‑related components such as MCP servers and AI agents

Investigate and resolve bugs to maintain platform stability

Work closely with engineering teams to support CI/CD processes

Must-Have Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline





1 to 3 years of experience in software engineering or system operations

Basic understanding of Linux environments

Experience with scripting languages Python or JavaScript

Working knowledge of DockerUnderstanding of databases and CI/CD concepts

Exposure to cloud computing and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

Experience working with microservices in production

Exposure to automation workflows

Basic understanding of AI components or AI agents

Familiarity with cloud monitoring or logging tools

Certifications

Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or AWS Cloud Practitioner are a plus
