Fresça is hiring Team Members for our new Sherway Gardens location, opening soon! We're looking for energetic, guest-focused people to craft our handmade açaí bowls, smoothies, and chia puddings while delivering fast, friendly service. Full-time and part-time positions available, starting September 26, 2026. No experience required — just a positive attitude and a passion for fresh food.

Duties

- Prepare fresh, quality food items following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare açaí bowls, smoothies, chia puddings, and beverages to Fresça recipe and presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food preparation and service




- Assist in food handling procedures to uphold health standards and ensure safe food practices

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not required; a passion for food industry work is a plus!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or similar technology for efficient transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly and accurately during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment within a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Kitchen experience or prior food industry work will be considered an asset; serving or cashiering experience is also valued
