If so, we'd love to hear from you.Our client is seeking aHealth, Safety & Environment (HSE) Coordinatorto help drive a strong safety culture across multiple construction sites. Working closely with the HSE Supervisor, you 'll play a vital role in ensuring every team member goes home safely each day while supporting exciting commercial construction projects.What You'll Be DoingAs the HSE Coordinator, you 'll be a trusted safety leader responsible for promoting best practices and ensuring compliance across active job sites.Your responsibilities will include:Leading Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings, coordinating inspections, investigating work refusals, and liaising with the Ministry of Labour when required.Conducting regular site inspections, monitoring compliance, following up on corrective actions, overseeing air quality, and helping maintain secure job sites.Developing emergency response and evacuation plans, providing first aid when required, investigating incidents, and implementing preventative measures.Delivering engaging site orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training to ensure workers understand and follow safe work practices.Managing permits, inspection reports, training records, qualification tracking, safety documentation, and compliance reporting.What We're Looking ForWe 're seeking someone who is proactive,
organized, and confident in promoting a culture where safety always comes first.Qualifications:NCSO designation or equivalent health and safety certification and experience.Degree or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.2–5 years of health and safety experience within the construction industry.Solid knowledge of Ontario construction health and safety legislation and industry best practices.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to remain calm under pressure and positively influence safe behaviours.Valid driver 's licence and access to a vehicle.Current CPR/First Aid Certification.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Why You 'll Love This OpportunityJoin a well-established and growing construction organization that values safety, teamwork, and professional development.
