As part of the Older Adult Mental Health and Substance Use team, you will provide comprehensive support services tailored to the unique needs of clients. Your responsibilities include facilitating access to community resources, participating in case planning, and promoting the development of life skills. You will also engage in team meetings aimed at improving service delivery and quality outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients affected by substance use and mental health
• Document observations and monitor client well-being
• Assist with scheduling and escorting clients to appointments
• Contribute to team planning and quality initiatives
• Conduct clerical tasks as required by the team
Requirements:
• Completion of a Social Services Support Worker diploma
• Two years’ experience in a related field
• B.C. driver’s license necessary for travel
• Knowledge of recovery principles and mental health issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
