Pursue a fulfilling Child & Youth Advocate position with Boost CYAC, dedicated to supporting youth during investigations of abuse. This role focuses on crisis intervention and advocacy within a multidisciplinary framework.

Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre is searching for two advocates who will play a critical role in assisting children and their families during challenging times. Applicants should be well-versed in support strategies and the complexities of the judicial process. This in office position requires collaboration with various agencies to provide holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver support and education to clients attending investigations
• Welcome families and explain MDT roles




• Conduct check-ins to assist with procedural inquiries
• Collaborate on interventions for safety and mental health concerns
• Assist with referrals to community resources as required

Requirements:
• BSW or an equivalent degree in related fields
• At least three years’ experience in victim support
• Knowledge of child welfare and advocacy models
• Proven ability to respond to crises
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
