Enhance community mental health services as a Program Assistant at Vancouver Coastal Health in Vancouver, BC. This position offers hands-on experience in a supportive, client-centered environment at South Community Health Centre.

In your role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver crucial program support. Your duties will include managing client referrals, organizing appointments, and maintaining accurate charts. You will also track staff expenses, compile program statistics, and provide transcription service as part of your clerical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in processing referrals and client appointments
• Monitor and manage client chart accuracy
• Gather and compile important program statistics




• Support clerical functions including document preparation
• Participate in meetings and help improve program offerings

Requirements:
• High school diploma and Medical Office Assistant qualification
• One year of relevant experience in a related workplace
• Proficient in medical terminology and relevant software
• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
