What you will do
Support children and youth in their daily activities and routines.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals.
Promote a safe and positive setting.
Document and report on progress and incidents.
What we are looking for
Required: Minimum 3 years of experience working with children and youth, particularly those with behavioural or mental health challenges.
Required: Solid understanding of child and youth development theories, trauma‑informed care, and mental health issues.
Required: Knowledge and practical experience with de‑escalation techniques and crisis management.
Required: Diploma/Degree in Child and Youth Care,
Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Required: Valid First Aid & CPR Certification.
Required: Valid Safe Management or UMAB Certification.
Required: Valid G2 or G Driver’s Licence.
Required: Vulnerable Sector – Broad Record Check completed within the last 12 months
