Become part of Extendicare as a Senior Activity Organizer and deliver valuable programs for residents in long-term care. Your role will include both group and individualized programming, making a real difference in seniors' lives.

In this part-time capacity, you'll take charge of preparing, delivering, and assessing organized programs. Excellent communication and computer skills are essential to maintain accurate records and ensure programs run smoothly. You will work independently and coordinate with various departments to fully support residents' needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging activities for seniors
• Document and evaluate the effectiveness of programs
• Maintain comprehensive resident and program records




• Communicate effectively with staff and seniors
• Work cooperatively across departments for holistic care

Requirements:
• Robust oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage time and work independently
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s and Dementia preferred
• Weekend and afternoon availability needed
• Experience in organizing engaging activities for residents
