As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for receiving and prioritizing calls while ensuring that emergency protocols are executed effectively. You will actively facilitate communication for Relational Security Officers and document incidents that may have legal implications. This role requires adaptability to various workloads while operating essential security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer calls and connect with appropriate authorities
• Record and prioritize call information based on urgency
• Maintain logs of interactions and report data accurately
• Monitor communication systems for life safety alerts
• Engage in incident documentation and reporting
Requirements:
• Basic Security Training (BST) from JIBC
• Typing Test Certificate with 45 net words per minute
• Availability for varying work hours, 0-37.5 per week
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Familiarity with emergency response protocols
