Service Advisor Responsibilities

Greet all customers, whether on the phone or in person.

Set appointments, answer calls, and handle all inquiries.

Physically walk the unit with the customer to complete the “Walk Around Sheet” (including last 8 digits of VIN, mileage, window tag, and steering wheel tag).





Review the walk‑around with the customer and obtain their approval.

Verify and print any warranty or recall information for the customer’s vehicle.

Verify customer contact information and method of payment, including credit authorization.

Complete and sign the Work Order.

Check history and attach it to the work order.

Attach all functional sheets to the work order, including Come Backs (Red) and Quality Control (Yellow).

Enter pertinent information in SSI for Express Assessment.

Service Advisor Requirements

High school diploma and/or GED required.

Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
