Position Details
Location: LNG in Kitimat, BC
Start date: Immediately
Shift/Hours: 5/2 rotation, 40 hrs./week and possible overtime
Wage: $36.54/hr., depending on certifications in accordance with the QCC Agreement
Relocation: Up to 3 months of temporary housing to assist with relocation transition if required.
Responsibilities
Prepare and position radiographic exposure devices and sources, such as gamma or X-ray equipment, to conduct inspections.
Calibrate equipment, secure the area, and ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect themselves and others from radiation exposure.
Perform radiographic examinations on materials, welds, or components to detect internal flaws, such as cracks, voids, or other irregularities.
Implement and monitor strict safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure.
Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
Requirements
Certifications & Technical Qualifications:
CEDO Certification
IRATA (Rope Access) Certified or willing to obtain
Diversified experience in NDT or related field
Professional Skills & Work Requirements:
Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
Robust work ethics
Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
Exceptional safety and quality awareness
Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
Candidates must be local or willing to relocate
