About The Role
Amrize is looking for experienced Concrete Sidewalk and Curb Finishers to join our Construction Division. As a Concrete Sidewalk and Curb Finisher, you will provide support to the concrete crew in completing both sidewalk and curb construction. Responsibilities include setting up forms, setting curb string, concrete placing, collecting materials, and keeping a clean site.

What You’ll Accomplish

Check forms for accuracy

Direct placement of concrete into forms and surfaces

Finish concrete

Operate power vibrators

Use hand and power finishing tools

Apply sealing components to cure surfaces

Complete field‑level risk assessments before beginning each task

Dismantle forms for pouring concrete

Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

What We’re Looking For
Education: High School Diploma

Required Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a concrete finisher

Additional Requirements

Prior experience in finishing concrete

Experience working in construction

Experience in leadership





Growth and development mindset

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize‑approved personal protective equipment (“PPE”), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
