What Is The Opportunity

Project: WBK Duct Bank

Location: West Kelowna, BC

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: $27.69 to $37.05 per hour

Overtime: 2 hours/day

Schedule: 5x2, some Saturdays as required

Camp: No

Allowances: No

Position Description

What You’ll Do Here





Support the successful completion of utility installation projects, including:

Excavating around live utilities

Utility line exposure and daylighting

Trenching and debris removal

Installation of utility infrastructure, including District Energy systems and Hydro Duct Banks

Site reinstatement and cleanup

Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g., loading/unloading vehicles, moving tools and equipment)

Act as a swamper/spotter for equipment operators

Perform firewatch duties as required

Assist with general labour tasks and other responsibilities as assigned

What You Bring To The Team

Physical strength, stamina, and manual dexterity

A strong safety-first mindset

Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment

Comfortable lifting up to 25 kg and working in all weather conditions

Robust communication and teamwork skills

Basic digital literacy for data entry and use of electronic devices

Valid driver’s license (driver’s abstract required)

Ability to pass a criminal background check

MUST be fluent in English, both written and verbal
