Emcon Services is seeking a Seasonal Highway Maintenance Operator at our Thunder Bay, Ontario location. Participate in maintaining safe winter conditions through operating maintenance equipment and supporting your team.

As a Seasonal Maintenance Operator, you will report to the Patrol Supervisor, handling light and heavy equipment while ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately. Your responsibilities will encompass performing routine maintenance and addressing any highway conditions that impact safety. This is an essential unionized role embedded in a collaborative work culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and operate maintenance equipment, including loaders
• Complete Driver Inspection and operational documentation
• Undertake preventative maintenance and repairs on tools




• Conduct winter maintenance and yard upkeep tasks
• Notify Supervisor of equipment issues and safety concerns

Requirements:
• DZ licence in valuable standing required; AZ is a plus
• Experience in highway maintenance or related field
• Friendly and courteous communication skills
• Physically able to meet the demands of the role
• Available and punctual for scheduled shifts
