Stockeur et Aide Magasin/Stock Clerk and Store Assistant
FCNQ, established in 1967, serves the communities of Nunavik and the rapidly growing cooperative movement with effective powers and services to achieve its vision "Atautsikut".

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director – Stores, maintain in‑stock products and ensure presentation contributes to an exceptional shopping experience by assembling and dismantling displays according to arrivals.

Travel by boat (sealift) as required.

Participate in the assembly and layout of stores.

Maintain standards of store image and trends.

Design product displays that are attractive, "shoppable" and consumer‑friendly.

Serve as the subject‑matter expert for assigned areas such as product placement, expiration date monitoring, promotions, and related processes.

Ensure cleanliness and ease of shopping so customers can move easily through the aisles.

Organize warehouse and store products following inventory management processes.

Support Store Managers and Store Coordinators in maintaining quality and standards for perishable items.





Create visual impact with shelf cards and assist with corporate markdowns and labeling.

Respect loss prevention policies and ensure their execution with store staff.

Keep work area and displays in positive, clean condition at all times.

Use equipment and materials safely to perform tasks.

When requested, perform the cycle count and annual physical inventory of the store with the accounting team.

Perform any other related tasks requested by Store Coordinators.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent experience; a college diploma is an asset.

Strong communication skills in French and English; knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset.

Good physical shape: ability to lift up to 30‑50 lbs, climb ladders, stand for several hours.

Comfortable with computers.

Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and highly organized.

Flexibility to adapt to an ever‑changing environment.
