Job Description

Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas

Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps at construction sites

Installation of mechanical expansion joints – specific experience with Sika/Emseal expansion joint glands is required

Installation of waterproofing systems – specific experience with Sika MasterSeal 2000/2500/2900 and Bakor 790-11 is required

Assist various tradespersons in construction activities

Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment,



signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities

Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment

Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed

Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps

Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

2 years of experience in construction

Ability to learn and follow instructions

Physically demanding

Bending, crouching, kneeling

Handling heavy loads
