Position Details
Position: Intermediate CNC Programmer

Location: Vaughan, Ontario

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Vacancy Status: Existing Vacancy

Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 (Salary based on skills, experience, qualifications)

Role Overview
The Intermediate CNC Programmer reports directly to the CNC Programming Supervisor and is responsible for the set‑up and programming of CNC machines used for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Receive job folders, separate procedures (Turret, Shear, Router)

Ensure requested parts are doable based on fabrication limitations (tooling, forming, sheet sizes, machine limitations)

Program MultiCam CNC Router and AMADA Turret and Salvagnini (S4+P4)

Communicate with Breakdown Detailers and Engineering Department regarding conflicts with drawings and patterns

Effective communication with Supervisors, Order Processors, and Machine Operators daily in person

Ensure all required drawings, spreadsheets, bending instructions and notes are available in the job folder

Update designs and programs in case of design changes

Perform quality control of produced parts

Other tasks assigned by the CNC Programming Supervisor

Intermediate Level Qualifications

Experience using Autodesk Inventor (Sheet Metal 3D Modeling)

Experience with Dr. ABE, Enroute23, AlmaCAM, StreamPunch, StreamBend, or other nesting/machining software





Strong skills in mathematics, geometry, and calculations

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Machining, Programming Science, or related field

Years of Experience

Minimum 2+ years programming experience

2+ years experience with Inventor is an asset

Work Location

On‑site, office setting

Wearing PPE required in certain locations

Flexible to work overtime as required
