Job Details - Director, Group Benefits (5774)Job PostingOrganization: Well Established, Full Service Benefits Consulting FirmProvince: British ColumbiaThe Vancouver Office of a well established, full service consulting firm presently has a career opportunity.The RoleThe Director, Group Benefits will be an integral member of the Firm's Senior Leadership Team ("SLT"). The major responsibilities of the position include:Participating as a member of the SLT in reviewing and determining the Firm's service offerings to meet the evolving benefit plan needs of clients; Overseeing and directly participating in the provision of full cycle advantages consulting services to clients, from development of the strategic direction, to plan design, funding, provider procurement, administration and communication; Providing training, mentoring and work direction to consultants/analysts; Participating as a SLT member in the provision of professional benefits advice to Boards of Directors, other governance authorities and the members of Senior Management within client organizations; Marketing the Firm's services to existing and prospective clients; Overseeing a block of clients and ensuring that the Firm's quality assurance standards are met,
along with the budget and timeline commitments; andDeveloping and maintaining harmonious and constructive relationships with clients and benefit providers.Total Rewards OfferingSalary of $140,000 to $180,000, plus annual performance bonus.In addition to the above cash compensation, senior professionals in leadership roles who effectively contribute to the Firm's success will be provided with an opportunity to acquire an ownership position in the Firm and thereby benefit from the related financial rewards.The Firm also offers a competitive, non-contributory group benefit plan, a Group RRSP, attractive paid time off arrangements and personal development reimbursement.RequirementsThe desired candidate qualifications for the Director, Group Benefits position include:A post-secondary degree, preferably coupled with a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation; A minimum of 10 years related group benefits experience, preferably in a group benefits consulting firm; A record ofprogressive career advancement, including the provision of mentorship and direction to group benefits staff; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to develop benefit plans solutions which are aligned with clients' total rewards philosophies and their evolving benefit plan needs; Commitment to theprovision of high-quality client service standards; andLife Licensedin the Province of BC, or willing to become licensed.All applications will be maintained in strict confidence.#J-18808-Ljbffr
