NOC Job Code/Title: 72014 - Contractors and supervisors, other construction trades, installers, repairers and servicers

MLP Painting & Construction LTD. is looking for an experienced Painting Contractor to lead and complete residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality results.

Hourly Wage: $37.00

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

On the road: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Responsibilities

Prepare production and other reports

Supervise workers and projects

Co‑ordinate and schedule activities

Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions

Train or arrange for training

Manage own company

Estimate costs and materials

Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Recommend personnel actions

Read blueprints and drawings

Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

Leading/instructing individuals





The work is primarily conducted outdoors in a construction and residential setting, where employees are regularly exposed to noisy, dusty conditions and are required to work at heights. The position involves supervising a team of 5 to 10 workers while maintaining productivity and safety standards under pressure. Successful candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills, solid organizational abilities, and demonstrate reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced work environment.
