Job Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate, and support the daily activities of room attendants, housekeeping and laundry staff.

Assign duties and work schedules to room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleaners.

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards.

Monitor housekeeping supplies and linens, and assist with inventory control and ordering.

Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.

Ensure proper use, storage, and inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.

Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns.

Collaborate with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments to ensure rooms are guest‑ready and maintenance issues are reported and resolved.

Handle lost‑and‑found items in accordance with hotel policy.

Assist with attendance tracking, and productivity monitoring.

Maintain accurate records, inspection reports, and departmental documentation.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Support management in achieving departmental goals, guest satisfaction targets, and quality assurance standards.

Qualification & Requirements

Completion of secondary school is required

Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role is required

Supervisory experience in a hospitality setting is an asset

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.





Good communication skills in English

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with staff and guests

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
