Responsibilities

Supervise and care for children

Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Bathe, dress and feed infants and children

Discipline children according to parents’ requested methods

Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Organize activities such as games and outings

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Prepare infants and children for rest periods

Tend to emotional well‑being of children

Requirements

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience

Experience:



Relevant experience an asset

Language: English

Criminal record check required

Transport: Public transportation available

Weight handling: up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Personal qualities: client focus, flexibility, initiative, reliability, teamwork, time management, patience, honesty
