As part of the Vancouver Island Health Authority's transportation team, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of items such as garbage, linens, and laboratory specimens. Working under the Transport Supervisor, your attention to safety and efficiency will play a crucial part in patient care. You'll need robust organizational abilities and effective communication skills to navigate daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a van or light truck for material transport
• Load and unload various items as required




• Follow transportation schedules and instructions from dispatch
• Coordinate with team members for operational effectiveness
• Adhere to safety protocols during transportation

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 vehicle license is mandatory
