Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator

Location: 72056 Township Road 712, Dimsdale, AB, T8W 5H3

Hours: 40 hours per week – Permanent, Full‑Time

Salary: $29.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to cut API and premium connections for oilfield and tubular applications.

Change and set up cutting tools, inserts, and specialized equipment with high precision.

Operate a tubular loading system, ensuring seamless production.

Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment, adhering to company policy.

Use hand‑held measuring instruments to verify that all parts meet accurate specifications.

Ensure safety procedures are followed, expedite and support incident reporting, and facilitate compliance.

Maintain quality assurance by ensuring parts meet specifications and gauging threads.

Perform instrument standardization to ensure all machines are calibrated and functioning optimally.

Mentor junior employees,



particularly laborers training to become CNC operators.

Qualifications

Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.

At least one year of relevant CNC operation, machining or tooling experience in an oilfield, commercial or industrial setting.

Ability to work independently without supervision.

Ability to lift 55 lbs.

Competent computer skills and typing ability.
