Take on the pivotal role of Dietary Aide at EXTENDICARE OSHAWA. Provide essential support in meal preparation and serving for residents in our long-term care facility.

This part time position involves serving meals that cater to specific dietary needs while ensuring cleanliness in the dining and kitchen areas. You will work closely with the Dietary Manager to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve food while maintaining proper temperatures and presentation
• Assist in preparation and cleaning of basic food items
• Operate dishwashers and clean utensils as needed
• Help with proper storage and labeling of food items
• Participate in kitchen organization and team meetings

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred
• Required Food Service Worker Certificate or enrollment in FSW program
• Ability to follow directions and safety protocols
• Must be able to lift moderate to heavy objects
• Availability to work various shifts, including evenings
