Qualifications

MACTE or AMI accredited Montessori 3-6 training

Legally eligible to work in Canada

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on parent education, record keeping, and fostering community engagement

Genuine passion for working with children, demonstrated through kindness, friendliness, and nurturing qualities

Prior experience working with children ages 3-6, coupled with a profound respect for their development

Previous work experience in the field of childcare in any position

Positive attitude and a commitment to lifelong learning





Current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check

Valid Standard First Aid certificate from a WSIB recognized provider, negative TB test, and up-to-date immunization records

Responsibilities

Create an authentic Montessori learning environment while ensuring the aesthetic appeal of the classroom

Deliver engaging educational experiences to parents, promoting a solid partnership between home and school

Participate actively in all Curriculum Evenings and Parent/Teacher Conferences

Maintain accurate record-keeping and planning systems to support student progress
