Licensed Millwright – 433A with Completed Apprenticeship – Rotating Shifts

This position is on a rotating shift. The Maintenance Millwright provides technical and mechanical support to ensure smooth production operations at the Mills facility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and continuous improvement of equipment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to ensure optimal performance of plant equipment and machinery.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.

Provide technical expertise and leadership in maintaining and improving production line efficiency, productivity, and equipment performance.

Operate and maintain workshop machinery and tools, including lathes, milling machines, drill presses, saws, welders, and other fabrication equipment.

Fabricate, repair, and install machine components and equipment to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support spare parts inventory management by identifying replacement needs and providing accurate parts information to stockroom personnel.

Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and regulatory requirements by following company policies, government regulations, and established work procedures.





Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and workplace safety while supporting shift, weekend, and overtime requirements as needed.

Qualifications

Post-secondary diploma.

433A trade license and certificate of Apprenticeship.

3–4 years of on-the-job experience, preferably in a food industry setting.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base pay: $42.00 – $45.00 per hour. Shift differentials: $1.00 per hour for 2nd shift and $1.50 per hour for 3rd shift. Compensation is based on location, skills, education, and experience.
