Responsibilities
Program and operate laser on a daily basis
Follow through on first‑part‑checked procedure
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Take instruction and work‑load assignments from supervisors
Gather and transport raw material to designated areas
Perform safety inspections of hoists, forklifts, and machinery
Perform minor repairs on laser as needed
Enter work orders into JD Edwards
Operate forklift
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Ability to read shop drawings
Ability to follow safe operating procedures
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with little or no supervision
Skills needed to identify substandard workmanship in fabrication
Working Conditions
Standing for long amounts of time
Lifting or carrying alone or with assistance up to 50 lbs.
Pushing, pulling, or dragging alone or with assistance up to 300 lbs.
Work under hazardous, dangerous conditions (heat, dust, smoke, noise)
Working outside in the elements (cold, heat, rain, snow)
Only accepting applications from Canadians, permanent residents, and/or foreign nationals with a valid work permit.
