Job Description
Home child care provider for a family in Toronto, Ontario. The position is permanent, full time (30-40 hours per week), and requires on-site work at the employer’s home.

Responsibilities

Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Organize activities such as games and outings for children

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Prepare infants and children for rest periods

Supervise and care for children

Tend to the emotional well-being of children

Qualifications

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience in child care is an asset

Criminal record check required





Public transportation available

Ability to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Personal suitability: client focus, initiative, judgement, reliability, time management, patience, honesty
