Join our team as a Grant Funded Special Education Instructional Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. Provide leadership and coaching for exceptional instruction tailored to elementary students with disabilities. This position will enhance inclusive practices and mentor educators in evidence-based literacy strategies.
Your role will focus on collaborative data usage to strengthen instructional planning, ensuring that all students receive optimal support according to their needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and assessment of elementary special education programs
- Offer coaching to improve teaching practices in special education
- Analyze MAP and VALLSS data for effective instructional planning
- Monitor and guide IEP-aligned instructional services
- Conduct professional development in literacy and instructional strategies Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Education or closely related field
- Minimum five years of special education teaching experience
- Postgraduate professional license in Special Education preferred
- Expertise in inclusive practices and reading instruction
