Job Title
Client Services Representative – Small Business Solutions
Overview
As a Client Services Representative within Small Business Solutions at ADP, you will use our top‑ranked training programs and world‑class service guidelines to solve clients’ challenges and fuel their business success. You will work with clients who have 1 to 49 employees.
Responsibilities
Serve as a client’s go‑to person and trusted advisor.
Support clients with the payroll module of ADP’s HCM software, ADP WorkforceNow On the GO and/or TeamPay.
Use broad expertise to deliver exceptional support to ADP’s clients.
Work to resolve issues and identify and provide solutions through root‑cause analysis, effective communication, and analytical skills.
Build relationships with clients and leverage your deep understanding of ADP’s products and services to provide solutions and answer questions.
Provide recommendations to ADP leadership around potential best practices, product and support process enhancements based on client input or experience.
Continually upgrade knowledge and skill base through a wide variety of available resources to ensure familiarity with statutory laws or legislative rulings that impact clients.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year in a customer service environment.
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in post‑secondary education and experience (preferably in business and/or human resources management).
A strong focus on client satisfaction in a relevant industry or as a payroll/HR practitioner with system experience.
Fluency in French and English.
Preferred Qualifications
Up to 1 year of professional consulting experience or equivalent experience with software applications, software configuration and client systems.
Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills, including sophisticated Human Capital Management areas.
Basic understanding of payroll processing workflow from input to delivery of the payroll; payroll compliance practitioner certification an asset.
Active listening skills and high‑impact oral and written communication skills.
Initiative to seek answers, solutions, and positive outcomes for both the client and ADP.
Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to multi‑task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner.
The ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently while demonstrating resourcefulness.
Quebec candidates: ADP Canada operates across Canada and in multiple international markets.
Additional Requirements
Proficiency in French (spoken and written) is required.
Requirements also involve duties that require regular use of English, in addition to French:
Regular communication with clients, suppliers, partners, or stakeholders located outside Quebec.
Collaboration with internal teams or functions based outside Quebec where English is the primary language of communication.
Participation in meetings, presentations and discussions conducted in English with national or global stakeholders.
