They work closely with owners, architects, construction managers, general contractors and other facility departments to collaborate and product cost-efficient, environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions to their workplace.

They are seeking a reliable and hardworking Finishing Line Operator to join their dynamic team!

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor automated finishing and colour application equipment

Prepare, mix, and adjust paints, stains, and coatings according to specifications

Perform colour matching and ensure consistency throughout production runs

Set up and make adjustments to finishing equipment to achieve required quality standards

Inspect finished products for colour accuracy and finish quality

Troubleshoot minor equipment and process issues

Maintain production records and material usage logs





Clean and maintain finishing equipment and work areas

Follow all safety procedures and proper handling requirements for paints and coatings

Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to meet production schedules

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Robust mechanical aptitude and ability to operate complex machinery

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to read work orders and follow specifications

Basic computer skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment

Experience operating automated finishing, paint, coating, or colour matching equipment (considered an asset)

Experience in cabinet manufacturing, woodworking, millwork, industrial finishing, automotive painting, or related industries (considered an asset)

Familiarity with paints, stains, lacquers, and other industrial coating systems (considered an asset)
