The Role
The School Counsellor will provide responsive counseling supports, preventative and capacity‑building initiatives, and team-oriented assistance to ensure student academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success.
Responsibilities
Provide responsive counselling supports for students individually and in groups
Support student well‑being through preventative and capacity‑building initiatives
Assist schools in responding to behavioural, emotional, social, and mental health concerns
Collaborate with school teams, families, and community agencies to support student success
Participate in crisis response and critical incident support when required
Promote positive mental health, resilience, and healthy relationships
