Teach future leaders in Counseling and School Psychology at the University of the Pacific on a part-time basis. Inspire students through effective in-person and hybrid instruction.
The University of the Pacific invites applications for visiting educators in Counseling and School Psychology programs. This temporary position requires a graduate degree and relevant qualified experience. Responsibilities include facilitating classes, tracking student attendance, and utilizing adult learning techniques to benefit diverse learners in an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare course schedules and instructional materials
• Foster an inclusive and productive classroom atmosphere
• Evaluate and provide feedback on student performance
• Meet with students for additional support during office hours
• Coordinate make-up classes when necessary
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in an applicable educational field
• Previous teaching experience in higher education
• Strong understanding of pedagogical theory
• Dedication to teaching in diverse environments
• Ability to effectively engage adult learners
